Upload an STL (from a 3D scanner or any CAD tool). An AI rebuilds it as editable CAD — a short
program of sketches and extrusions — which our verified geometry kernel checks and exports as STEP, in your millimetres.
Drop an STL here or click to choose binary or ASCII · up to 20 MB · 3 uploads per hour
The editable-CAD rebuild is POOR, but your mesh is one closed piece — the check will run directly on your mesh (no editable CAD).
Which piece?
· one piece at a time (bolts and contacts between pieces are not modelled)
verified FEM solvers · about 30 s – 2 min

The editable program
Works best on machined-style parts (plates, brackets, flanges, shafts): the AI builds with sketches,
holes and extrusions. Freeform / organic scans will only be approximated. Uploads are deleted after 24 hours.

How it works
1 · The mesh is rendered from 8 directions. 2 · CADReasoner (an open vision-language CAD model,
CVPR 2026) writes CadQuery programs. 3 · Each program runs in a locked sandbox; our kernel checks the solid.
4 · The best match is shown back to the AI to improve, then scaled to your millimetres.
Tested
Rebuilt parts overlap the true CAD by 99.2–100% (plate, flange, L-bracket, slotted block) and 97% (stepped shaft).
Assemblies: a 4-piece test assembly 99.5%; real substation files (9 clamps, 9 breakers) graded GOOD.
